Daniel Clark Wilkerson, age 68, went home to be with his Lord on August 8, 2012 at his home on Sequoiah Lane in Jefferson City, TN. He was born on October 26, 1943 to the late Booker T. and Flora E. Wilkerson. He retired with over 35 years from Steadly Spring Factory. He was an active member of Boyd Creek Church of God in Sevierville; TN. Daniel loved the land and had a true passion for agriculture. He spent much of his life farming and caring for animals until illness stopped him from being able to continue that part of his life. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 47 years, Beatrice Chandler Wilkerson of Jefferson City, TN; son Clark D. (Kathy) Wilkerson of Santa Margarita, CA, and daughter, Jennifer Leigh Wilkerson of Knoxville, TN. Daniel also leaves behind two granddaughters, Haliegh and Kyliegh Wilkerson, also of Portola Hills, CA. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Booker T. and Flora E. Wilkerson, brother: Robert L. Wilkerson, Sr.; sisters: Wanda Johnson and Minnie Breedlove. He is survived by brother: Franklin D. (Sumchit) Wilkerson, Austin, TX; Arlina Jones, Anniston, AL; Justine (Carl) Boatwright, Villa Park, CA; and Francis (Calvin) Talley, Oxford, GA.
Services will be held at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City on Thursday, August 16, 2012. Receiving friends is from 5-7 pm with services to begin at 7pm. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11am.
Beatrice, Clark and Jennifer would like to thank everyone for their prayers, kindness and sympathy.
