He owned and operated Dolly's Restaurant, and was a partner in J & J Candy Sales. He was a retired employee of Swan's Bakery. Preceded in death by parents, Muncie and Myrtle Hatcher sister, Nell Trentham, and brother, Bob Hatcher . Survivors include wife, Irene Hatcher son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Judy Hatcher of Knoxville daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann and Robert Sims of Sevierville, Betty Lou and Larry Eidson of Rockford, Judy and Walter Snow of Maryville, Lorna and Jim Norwood of Seymour and Tammie and Chris Dyer of Maryville grandchildren, Crystal and Joel Wheelon, John and Misty Newcomb, Jeremy and Heather Snow, Matt Snow, Elizabeth and Carrie Sims, Ashley Cole, Charlie Caylor, Kim Caylor, and Michelle Sharpe ten great-grandchildren brother and sister-in-law, M.D. and Shirley Hatcher of Michigan sisters and brothers-in-law, Imogene and Billy Reagan of Seymour, Louise and Johnie Tipton of Seymour, Shirley and J.T.
