January 13, 1924 - January 20, 2014 Resided in Seymour, TN Beatrice Yvonne Newingham Harrell, age 90 of Seymour, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at Tennova Residential Hospice. Mrs. Harrell was born January 13, 1924 in Vernham Dean, England and served as a Military Policewoman with the British Army during World War II. She was a member of the Salvation Army and enjoyed participating in various activities at the Fort Sanders Sevier County Senior Center. In her spare time she loved fishing, playing bingo, and knitting sweaters and hats for all of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Douglas; husbands, Harold E. Newingham, Sr. and Ray Harrell; son, Robert L. Newingham; step-son, Bobby Harrell; and great-grandson, Zachary Seats. Survivors: Sons and daughters-in-law: Robin Perren and wife Pauline of Hurstbourne, England; Harold E. Newingham, Jr. of Decatur, IL; Donald Newingham of Decatur, IL; and Carol Newingham of Palm Bay, FL Daughters and sons-in-law: Mary A. Eubank and husband Sam of Seymour, TN; Vicki Malerich and husband Rod of Lincoln, IL; Debra J. Sherrer and husband Steve, of Knoxville, TN; Rebecca S. Whited and husband Gary of Seymour, TN; and Lorraine K. Dunham and husband Tim of Seymour, TN 26 Grandchildren 51 Great-grandchildren 3 Great-great-grandchildren Sisters: Irene Millard of Northampshire, England and Jacqueline Mawby of Devonshire, England The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Christopher Sawyer and staff, and to the nurses and staff of Tennova Residential Hospice for their loving care of Mrs. Harrell.
