Alice Johnson Edmonds, age 79, of Maryville, passed away Monday, July 7, 2003 at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. Retired from Baptist Hospital as a housekeeping supervisor. Preceded in death by former husband, Ham Edmonds. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Anne and Prent Dixon of Clarksville, Gretchen and Paul Kirkland of Maryville, Lynne and Stephen Bowen of Maryville, Pat and Gordon Welch of Florida; and Paula and Ron Pfeiffer of Florida; grandchildren, Bryan Ogle, Brooke Sweet and husband, Jon, Daniel Dixon, Tyler and Morgan Bowen, Jordan and Trey Pfeiffer, and Chelsea Welch; special niece, Sheila Housewright; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Berry Chapel, with Rev. Ron Lawson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery for graveside service.
