Edna Headrick Dunn, 98, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Preceded in death by: Husband, Earl L. Dunn; Daughter, Mary Ruth Dunn; Parents, Ervin & Rebecca Headrick; Sisters, Sallie Waycaster Cora McFall, Ocie Hardin, and Dorothy Atchley; Son-in-law, Glenn "Dub" Duncan. Edna is survived by: Daughter, Sarah (Tootsie) Duncan; Grandchildren, Susan & Henry Burleigh, David Jackson and Julia Jackson, Wanda and Kenny Troutt; Great-Grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Barbara Jackson Thrasher, and Kris Rice; Very dear friend, Brenda Parsley; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Special thanks to caregiver Melissa Wilson and to the wonderful staff of Caris Healthcare. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Arlen Gurley and Rev. Mike Simpson officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 1, 2013 at Grandview Cemetery.
