Alva Lois Steinheil Hamilton, 80, of Dandridge, passed away Thursday, November 12, after a long illness.
A native of Aplin, Arkansas, she retired in 1980 from Campbell Soup Co. in Sacramento, California, after 31 years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Josie Steinheil; husband of 54 years, Robert G. Hamilton; grandson, Damon Todd Hamilton; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Ruth Hamilton of Sevierville; grandsons and granddaughter-in-law, Jayrob and Lee Ann Hamilton of Roanoke, Virginia, and Jeremy Hamilton of Sevierville; and granddaughter, Shana Hamilton of Sevierville.
Funeral service will be 7:30 p.m. Friday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. John Rhoads officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Burchfield Memorial Cemetery for interment.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
