He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Wayne Hartless, Sr. Survivors include his mother, Virl Hartless; wife, Angelyn (Angie) Hartless; son, Ray Hartless; daughter, Laura Maples and husband, Nick; brother, Michael Hartless; 3 grandchildren, Shawn Maples, Tyler Maples and Katelyn Maples; nephew, Nathan Hartless; several aunts, uncles and cousins and his faithful dog, Jacob. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville, TN. with Pastor Edgar Alquinta officiating. The family will receive friends 4:00-5:00 P.M. Thursday prior to the service. The family would like to express their thanks to U.T. Hospice, Knoxville First Seventh Day Adventist Church and their neighbors on Young Avenue for their love and care during Doug’s illness.
