He had served as a past Commander of the American Veterans of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milas Green and Betty Quilliams Green; sisters, Marie Underwood and Ruby Malone. Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley Green of Kodak; son and daughter-in-law, David and Hazel Burnett of Sevierville; daughters and son-in-laws, Joni and Michael Green of Sevierville; Dori and Wayne Reinhart of Ohio; brothers, Bob Green; Jerry Green and wife, Mary; Larry Green and wife, Bobbie; Luther Green; Jimmy Green all of Sevierville; sisters, Bonnie Conway and husband, Brad of Maryville; Agnes McCarter and husband, Joel of Sevierville; grandchildren, Derrick, Dalton, Dacoda, Destiny, Meghan, Jared, Christopher, Wesley, Christy and Ronnie; great grandchild, Mickla; (special niece), Diane; several nieces and nephews. A special memorial service will be held 6:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville.
