Lewis George “Sam” Stamm, age 51, of Knoxville, TN passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011. For the first time he is seeing a mother he has only known in pictures, a father in humility and acceptance, a wife in forgiveness and peace, and his Savior in perfect love and glory. Best day ever for him!
He is preceded in death by his mother, Wilma; father Lew; and wife Debbie.
Survivors include his sons, Matthew and Sammy; daughter, Ashley; brothers, Charlie and Michael; sisters, Susan, Charlotte and Grace; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service is planned for Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church, 4615 Asheville Highway, Knoxville, TN. The family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. followed by the service.
