HEATON, WILLIAM ROE "CURLEY" - age 85, of Alcoa, passed away Wednesday morning, January 27, 1999 at the family home. He was of the Baptist faith. Retired from ALCOA and a member of The 25-Year Club. Preceded in death by great-grandson, Brian Rausch; great-granddaughter, Callie Rausch and several brothers and sisters. Survivors: wife, Clara Gregory Heaton; sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Wilma Heaton of Maryville, Stanley and Charlotte Heaton of Louisville, KY; daughters and sons-in-law, Alma and Jim Haven, Mary and John McCarter, Carol and Frank Curtis, all of Maryville; grandchildren, Jimmy Haven, Rick Haven, Mike Heaton, Warren Heaton, II, Tina Heaton and Connie Rausch; great-grandchildren, Joe Heaton, Scott Heaton, Warren Heaton, III, Seth Rausch, Cassie Rausch and Crystal Correll; brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Jessie Heaton of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 1999 at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ray Caldwell and Rev. Eli Henry officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 a.m. Friday at Nelson Chapel Cemetery for the interment service. Family will receive friends 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
