Alma Jean Heaton Haven, age 76, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at her home. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and retired from Middlesettlements School Cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her son, Rick Haven; parents, Roe and Clara Heaton; brother, Don Heaton; and sister, Mary McCarter. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Haven, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, James and Karen Haven, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Barbara Haven; grandson, Caleb Haven; granddaughter, Crystal Correll; brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Charlotte Heaton of Louisville, KY; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Frank Curtis of Maryville; sister-in-law, Wilma Heaton; aunt, Polly Gregory of Alcoa; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her nieces, cousins, and special friends who gave her so much love and support during her illness. Also, special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice Staff who gave her so much love and care. Family and friends will gather 11:00 AM Saturday, January 21, 2012, at Nelson Chapel Cemetery for the graveside service and interment, Rev. Allen Burchfield and Rev. Jimmy Runyon officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Blount Memorial Hospice (1095 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN 37804) or to the Mt. Zion Church Building Fund (608 Ed Davis Rd, Maryville, TN 37801).
