A. (Bud) Rogers, age 82 of Sevierville, went to be with Jesus on Friday, September 16, 2011 at his home. Mr. Rogers was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Ruby Estella Rogers; daughter, Frances Estella Gibson; parents, Clifford and Slenia Rogers; sisters, Sarah Jane Campbell, Ruby Rogers and Georgia Moore; brother, Walter Lee Rogers. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Edward (Edd) and Janie Rogers; daughters and sons-in-law, Lois and Terry Kirby, Janice and Troy Williams, Teresa Stallings; son-in-law, Dave Gibson; grandchildren, Tracy Price, Anthony Kirby, Tonya Kirby, Andrew Rogers, Jason Rogers, Wesley Stallings and Michael Stallings; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Reagan, Mary Ruth Dykes; brothers, Lawrence and Jerry Rogers; special pet, “Babe”, his beloved dog.
