She was a member of Ogles Chapel Baptist Church. Nell worked at Dominion Auto, she continued the rest of her life being a homemaker a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved life and enjoyed being around her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Bates and Edna Gibson, brothers, Junior Gibson, Homer Gibson, and Buddy Gibson, sister, Edith Carroll. Survivors: Husband of 49 years, Bobby Atchley Sons: Bobby Atchley Jr., Michael and Heather Atchley Daughter: Kelly and Mike Williams Grandchildren: Emily Atchley, Josh Williams and wife Chassidy, April McNutt, Alexis and Isaac Atchley. Great-grandchildren: Joshua, Halle, Jayden and Julliet Williams, Christian and Taylor McNutt. Several nieces nephews and a host of other friends and family. The family would like to thank: Armin and Virginia Schadt, Jim and Sharon Davis, Sandy Williamson, Glenda Gibson, Tammy Sims, Beverly Metcalf, and Carolyn Wear UT hospice nurse. Pallbearers: Joshua Williams, Jeff Williams, Mike Sims, Richard Jacobs, Jeremy Davis, Larry Blalock, and John Cogdill. Funeral service 7 PM Monday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Oliver Ray Williams and Rev. Benny Gann officiating. Interment 10AM Tuesday in Atchley’s Seymour Memory Gardens.
