Donald B Reagan, age 66 of Knoxville, TN passed away Thursday June 16, 2016. He was the eldest son of Bruce Walter Reagan and Mildred Louise Kron; grandson of Walter L. Reagan and Cora A. Watson; great grandson of Charles C. Reagan and Rebecca A. Bradley; great great grandson of Daniel W. Reagan and Sarah Whaley; great great great grandson of Richard Ragan and Julia Ann Shultz; and great great great great grandson of Timothy Ragan III and Elizabeth Trigg. He was born on December 30, 1949 at Yarberry hospital in Sevierville, Tennessee. Donald B. Reagan had accepted Jesus Christ, son of Father Jehovah, as his personal Lord, Savior and guardian during the months of April and May, 1967. He was a 1969 graduate of Central High school, Knoxville, Tennessee; 1971 graduate of Knoxville Business College, Knoxville, Tennessee; and 1976 graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, Tennessee. Donald B. Reagan was a life member of Smoky Mountain Historical Society, and Sons of the Revolution in the State of Tennessee. His lifetime passion was genealogy. He had written seven Genealogical publications on Sevier County, Tennessee's pioneer settlers in the Great Smoky Mountain region. Smoky Mountain Clans, Volume 1, 2, and 3, revised editions, and The Book Of Ragan/Reagan were his two popular publications. Donald B. Reagan had retired from the University Of Tennessee after his thirty years and one month employment. Preceded in death by his beloved father, Bruce Walter Reagan, who died January 2015; his beloved mother Mildred Louise Kron Reagan who died in August 1993; his beloved sister, Karen Marie Reagan who died in August 1955; and his beloved brother, Robert Reagan who died in August 1956. Survivors; his beloved brother and sister in law, William L. Reagan and Diane Phillips Reagan of Powell, Tennessee. The graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 at Greenwood Cemetery on Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Monday at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smoky Mountain Historical Society, PO box 5078, Sevierville, Tennessee 37864-5078 Friends may leave their condolences at www.berrylynnhurst.com
