JOHNSON, CLYDE - passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010. He was a loving husband and the best Dad that any of his children could have ever hoped to have. Mr. Johnson loved spending time with his friends camping, fishing and boating on the lake. He was also lifelong member of the Masons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Iva Johnson; sisters: Lindy, Cory and Roxie; and brother, Otha Johnson. Remembering and missing him are wife of 55 years, Edith; daughter, Sharon Baisden and husband Scott; sons: Johnny, Terry and wife Vickie, and Randy Johnson; grandkids: Tiffany, Terry, Billy, Jordan and Hannah; great grandkids, Natalie and Gabby; sister, Naomi Scott of Dothan, AL; special nephew, Jerry Stiles; many other special nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law, Donna Blanton; as well as many dear friends including special lifelong friend, Ed Alley. The family would like to send a special thanks to Estelle from St. Mary's Hospice, as well as all the other care nurses. A funeral service will be held at 8pm on Tuesday, July 13th at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Cannon, Rev. Beau Riffey and Bryan Milam officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm prior to the service. Interment will be at 12pm on Wednesday, July 14th at Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Scott, Don Scott, Darrell Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, Mark Gilland, Allen Gilland, and honorary pallbearer Ed Alley. Condolences may be offered at www.mccartyevergreen.com
