Wiley Truett Mountcastle, 70, of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville. Wiley was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church and served his country as a member of the United States Navy. Preceding Wiley in death are his parents, James Franklin and Elsie Mae Gibson Mountcastle. Wiley is survived by his wife, Joan Haun Mountcastle; children, Frankie Mountcastle and wife Tonya, Jeff Mountcastle and wife Peggy; step-children, Donna Bagan and husband Tom, Denny Maples and wife Karen, Terry Maples and wife Tammy; grandchildren, Patience, Siera and Jordan Mountcastle; step grand-children, Jack Brown, Amanda, Cortney and Whitney Maples; step great-grandchild, Kiera Brown. Besides the immediate family, Wiley will be missed by many friends. Service will be 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2005 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. W.A. Galyon officiating. Interment will be 12:00 Noon, Monday, April 18 at Boyds Creek Cemetery with American Legion Post #104 performing military rites.
