Lawrence Frazier , age 81 , of Newport , passed away on June 3 , 2015 , at Jefferson County Nursing Home in Dandridge , TN . He was preceded in death by his parents Kermit and Effie Frazier , sisters Gladys Cook, Ruby Presnell, and Annette Caldwell, brother- in -law J. C. Caldwell, and sister- in -law Earlene Frazier . He is survived by his wife Betty Frazier of 62 years, daughters Donna (Paul) Sallee of Florida and Lynn Baxley of Florida, sons Larry (Heather) Frazier of White Pine and Trent (Robin) Frazier of Newport . He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, brothers Von (Louise) Frazier of North Carolina and Kermit 'Rusty' Frazier of Newport ; and brother- in -law Kenneth Presnell of Sevierville. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 , at White Pine Church of God with his son, Pastor Larry Frazier , officiating. Receiving of friends will be from 5:00—6:00 p.m. Lawrence 's body was donated to Restore Life USA of Johnson City, TN , in hopes of enhancing someone else's life.
