Margie Frazier Dockery, 85, of Friendsville, passed away Wednesday morning April 6, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, George (Brother) Dockery; parents, Austin and Lorinda Ball Frazier; brothers, Kermit, Carey, Shermon and Talmadge Frazier; and sister, Lenie Barnes. She was a member of Rescue Baptist Church and retired from Levi’s. She is survived by her sons, Carl and Alan Dockery; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Tom Dalton, Georgia Hawkins, Brenda and Gary Simerly; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; special friends and a special thanks to the Blount Memorial Oncology Doctors and Staff. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday April 7, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Rev. Gary Simerly officiating. The family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Friday at Morganton Cemetery for a graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
