Resided in Sevierville, TN
Shirley Diane Franklin, age 54, of Sevierville, passed away April 19, 2016, at LeConte Medical Center. She was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother and friend. Shirley followed NASCAR and was a loyal Jeff Gordon fan. She adored her grandchildren and cared deeply for her family.
She was preceded in death by mother, Marjorie H. Franklin; brothers: Tommy (Tom) Clark and Jesse Lynn; sisters-in-law: Terry Franklin and Susan Long Franklin; nephew: Brian Franklin.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law: Leslie and Jeremiah Woods; grandchildren:
Ava and Cash; father: James (Scrubby) Franklin; brothers and sisters-in-law: Ronnie and JoAnn, Jack, Jerry and Vickie, Steve; sister: Sheila; several nieces and nephews;
special friends: John and Pat Caroline, Ruby Smith; and her dog Belle
The family will meet 12 PM Friday, April 22nd at Pleasant Hill Cemetery for a graveside service.
