REAGAN, BRUCE WALTER (DAD) - age 95 years, ten months, three days, passed away, Monday, January 26, 2015 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. He was the third child and second son to the late Walter Lee Reagan and Cora Alice Watson Reagan, and the grandson to the late Charles C. Regan and Rebecca Ann Bradley; great grandson of Daniel Wesley Ragan/ Reagan and Sarah Whaley; great-great grandson of Richard Ragan/ Reagan and Julia Ann Schultz; great-great grandson to Timothy Ragan/ Reagan, III and Elizabeth Trigg in Sevier County, Tennessee. Bruce was always proud of his Regan/ Reagan family heritage. Bruce was born on March 23, 1919, in a small farm house near LeConte Creek (formerly Mill Creek) on Charles G. Reagan 's farm in Gatlinburg, Sevier County, Tennessee. Here he grew up and attended Pi Beta Phi Settlement School (both elementary and high school) there. He had only completed ten years of education and was helping his father and grandfather on the farm. When he was grown, Bruce worked as a mechanic, bus driver, and retired from Avondale/Biltmore Farms as a route delivery driver after thirty-two years of service. He delivered milk to the people of Union County and Claiborne County, Tennessee. Bruce accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior when he was thirteen years of age. He was baptized and was a member of White Oak Flats Baptist Church (now First Baptist Church of Gatlinburg). He was previously married to the late Mildred Louise Kron on October 12, 1944, in Chatsworth, Murray County, Georgia. Bruce was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Marie Reagan ; son, Robert Reagan, Parents; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Austin 'Tim' Reagan and Mattie Clabo; sister and brother-in-law, Grace Phyllis 'Midge' Reagan and Jack Hicks. He is survived by his son, Donald B. 'Don' Reagan; son and daughter-in-law, William L. 'Bill' and Diane Phillips Reagan; nephews and nieces, Charles Herbert Reagan of Gatlinburg, TN; Barbara Reagan Seaton of Sevierville, TN; Jerry Lee Reagan of Sevier County, TN and Marty Reagan of Pigeon Forge, TN' cousins, Dorothy Lee 'Toots' Miller Trentham of Gatlinburg, TN and Thomas 'Tommy' Blair Reagan-Lewis of Portland, OR. Family and friends will meet 12:00 p.m. Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery for a graveside service with Reverend Bob Dalton officiating.
