She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Ruth Franklin; brother, John Franklin; son, Johnny Ray Cardwell; daughter-in-law, Nadine (Hall) Cardwell; daughter-in-law, Lisa (Keys) Cardwell; niece, Joyce Clabo. Mrs. Cardwell is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ray Cardwell; sons and daughter-in-law, Bob and Judy Cardwell, Sam Cardwell and Jerry Cardwell; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Carl Lindsey, Sherry and Darrell Hicks, Judy and Grady Green, Jr., Regina Cardwell and companion Carl Underwood; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Glenn Carr, Carlene and David Buck; sister-in-law, Martha Franklin; special thanks to Shirley, Carlene and Martha -you are really appreciated; special friends, Jenny Mason, Carolyn Wear, Shirley Leatherwood, Ruby Clark Caughron and Marie Henry.
