OWNBY, MRS. VIOLA NEVA (BOBIE) - age 77 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 14, 2006 at Baptist Hospital. Viola was a member of the Community Baptist Church. She was retired from Robert Shaw Controls after 25 years of service. Viola was preceded in death by: her husband, Willie Ray Ownby; son, James (Jimmy) Ownby; daughter, Margaret Frances; granddaughter, Renee Loveday; parents, Michael Joseph and Sarah Ownby; and the last of ten brothers and sisters; now the reunion begins. Left to cherish her memory: sons, Willie Paul and wife Reba, Carlos R. and wife Carol, Donnie W and wife Lisa; and daughter-in-law, Doris Ownby; sisters, Lilly Pellom, Bertha Arms and Linda Carr; sister-in-law, Velma Kelly; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends; a very special sister-in-law and caregiver, Dortha Bale. The family will receive friends Monday, April 17, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Highland South Funeral with a celebration of Viola's life to follow at 8:00 pm with Reverend Jimmy Pellom officiating. The committal service will be Tuesday, April 18, 2006, 11:00 am at Highland South Cemetery.
