Alice was born in Memphis. Tenn., Sept. 21. 1926. She died Feb. 11, 2008, in Emmett, Idaho. She attended Columbia Bible College in Columbia, S.C. She had every intention and dream of being a missionary to China, And then she met Glenn Shultz. Glenn and Alice married in September, 1947. Glenn's job with the National Park Service required that the family move to Jackson Hole, Wyo. Alice worked in several gift shops, jewelry stores, and art galleries in Jackson and was active in the First Baptist Church. After retirement in 1977, Glenn and Alice moved to Ennis, Mont., and later to Bozeman. After Glenn's death in 2000, Alice moved to Emmett, Idaho. Alice accepted the Lord as her Savior and taught Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, and Bible Study for over 65 years. She is now with her beloved husband of 53 years and her Lord in Heaven. Survivors include by her daughter, Kathie and Tim Fitzgerald of Emmett, Idaho; son, David and Linda Shultz of Casper, Wyo; granddaughters, Jennifer and Jamie; sisters; Betty and George Ann. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Family Circus Children's Ministries, Darrell Blatchley, P.O. Box 211, Payette, Idaho 83661 - a mission effort involved with the feeding and salvation of children in the Philippines. www.familycircuscm.org
