(August 25, 1942 - March 6, 2015) Bonnie A. Lewis Masoner, 72, of Newport, went to be with the Lord on the morning of March 6, 2015. She was a devout member of Northport Baptist Church in Newport, as well as a Sunday School teacher. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Lynn Masoner; parents, Clydia Bea Miller Lewis and Peyton “Bud” Lewis, Jr.; parent-in-laws, Bruce and Vida Lee Masoner; and son-in-law, Terry Lee Messer. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Carroll Masoner; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Kevin Bennett; grandsons and family, Chris and Katie Messer, son Peyton Messer; Tony and Abby Messer, daughter Alyssa Messer and son Gibson Messer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Barbara and Wayne Stephenson; Gary and Karen Masoner; Billy Masoner; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. at Manes Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Kris Brady officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
