(April 26, 1930 - December 4, 2006) Edna Viola Lillard Lewis, age 76, of Newport, passed away, Monday, December 04, 2006 at Baptist Hospital West. She was a member of Wilsonville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jim Lillard and Payton Lewis; son, Jimmy Lillard; sister, Dorothy Nathan; brothers, Clinton and Ponder Williams. She is survived by her brother, Earl Williams of Floral City, Florida; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Wanda Lillard of Newport, Ricky and Linda Lillard of Morristown; grandson, Scotty Lillard of Morristown; great grandson, James Lillard of Morristown; special friend Jimmy Arwood; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday, December 5, 2006 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jack Bratton and Rev. Adam Sanders officiating. Burial will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 6, 2006 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
