Bonnie Joyce Lunsford Fox passed away on October 14, 2014 at the family home. Bonnie was a faithful member of Fox United Methodist Church where she attended until her health declined. She was devoted to reading her Bible every day and read it all the way through 3 times in recent years.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Rex W. Fox. Her parents; Fletcher and Ada Lunsford; her brothers, Clyde, Glen and Vaughn Lunsford; her sisters, Betty Lunsford Holbert, Beulah Lunsford Ketner; niece, Wanda Ketner Rolen.
She is survived by daughters, Joyce Fox McConnell and husband, Jasper of Kimball, TN; Sharon Fox Reed and husband, Thomas of Knoxville, TN; Grandchildren, Scott McConnell of Sevierville; Cheri McConnell Boykin and husband, Marty of Kingsport, TN; Great Grandchildren, Libby and Erin Boykin; Nephew, Wiley Ketner and wife, Pat of Bettendorf, Iowa.
Her kind and loving Grandson, Scott was her caregiver for 10 years and also cared for her husband Rex during his final days.
The family would like to thank UT Medical Home Health Care and UT Hospice for her care during this time.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Fox United Methodist Church Building Fund—Fox UMC, 168 Fox Church Road—Sevierville, TN. 37876
The family will receive friends 11:00-12:00 noon Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville prior to the service which will begin at 12:00 noon with Rev. Ken Lambert officiating.
Family and friends will meet at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Fairgarden Cemetery for a graveside service.
Rawlings Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
