Ronald (Jody) Ellison, age 44, went to his eternal home on Saturday, August 8, 2015. He is preceded in death by his daddy, Ronald Ellison; father-in-law, George Brackins; brother-in-law, Jonathan Burgins; grandparents, Floyd and Ruby Jones and Homer and Bessie Ellison. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Shannon Ellison; his greatest joy his twin boys, Jake and Blake Ellison; momma, Brenda Ellison; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Jason and Wendy Ellison; mother-in-law, Wanda Brackins; sisters-in-law, Tina and Jeff Gibson, Joanie Burgin; nieces and nephews, Cana, Jara, Isra and Sina Ellison, Lauren and Candice Gibson, Bryson McCarter; aunts and uncles, Rhonda (WC) Crum, Deloris (Mark) Hill, Marilyn Jones, Julie Lane, Annelene Gray, Edna (Jimmy) Green, Essie Gentry, Don Ellison,; special friend whom he loved like a brother, Bryan Ardell Freshour; and a host of cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, August 13, 2015 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. carl Bryan and Rev. David Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
