FLANAGIN, ESTES DEXTER (FESTES) - age 56, of Seymour, died Wednesday, October 19, 2006 at the family home. He worked as a carpenter. In his spare time, Festes enjoyed the outdoors, loved nature and animals, and even made walking sticks. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Flanagin; grandparents, Frank and Maggie Flanagin, Tom and Kate Suttles; stepbrother, Philip Wayne Suttles. Survivors include his wife, Leanne Flanagin; sons, Estes Flanagin Jr.; daughters, Maggie Lou Flanagin, T.J. Ballew, Crystal (Chris) Shaw, Melissa, Angie, Sherry, and Terra Lynn Flanagin; father, Vernon (Alma) Flanagin; grandchildren, Brianna, Dakota, Hunter Ray, Josh, Michael, Dalton, & Skylar; brothers, Curtis Flanagin and Ray (Linda) Flanagin; sister-in-law, Teresa Suttles. After a private family gathering, Mr. Flanagin was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Saturday, October 21, 2006 in the Dotson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ernest Condee officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Saturday at Dotson Funeral Home, 4838 Wildwood Road, Maryville/Seymour. (865-984-5959)
