She was a devoted Christian and member of Seymour First Baptist Church. She served on the personnel committee at church and volunteered at Cross Ministries and other local charities. Jean loved to play golf and was a past Ladies Champion of Creekside Plantation. She loved going on family vacations and loved to watch her grandchildren play sports. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Mary Floyd, sister, Emily Ford, brothers, Don Floyd and wife Ann, B.J. Floyd, Coy Floyd, Billy Floyd.
