DYKES , HAZEL ANLEA 100, died October 12, 2012. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Dykes . She is survived by her "favorite daughter", Ann Dykes Chafin Brandon and husband, David; grandsons, Scott Chafin and wife, Patty, Allan Chafin, Brad Chafin and wife, Colleen; great grandchildren, Logan Chafin, Corey Chafin, Samuel Chafin, Cole Chafin, McKennah Chafin. Hazel spent all but the last 20 years of her life in Knoxville, TN. They were members of Stock Creek Baptist Church 1946 - 1960 and Central Baptist Church 1960 - 1991. Then she and Claude moved to Memphis to be with family. She made many new friends, due to her kind, loving ways. She was a treasure to all who knew her and the best mother in the world. The family will receive friends at Mann's Heritage Chapel, 6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN, Thursday, Oct. 18, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Graveside service immediately following at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
