January 8, 1929 - March 9, 2018 William Elisha Parrott, 89, of Sevierville moved to his new home on Thursday, March 8, 2018. He retired from Cherokee Textile Mills. William served his country in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Parrott; mother, Florence Parrott; and brother, Floyd Parrott. William is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Ina Parrott; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Don Ownby; the apples of his eye: grandson, Steven Ownby; granddaughter and husband, Shandi and Bryson Maples; great-grandson, Waylon James Maples; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Nina Manning; brother and wife, Roy and Jamacia Parrott; sisters, Wanda Patterson, Bonnie and Patrick Kealey, and Betty Jean Latham. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Saturday, March 10th with the funeral service to follow at 7pm in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Pastor Kim McCroskey will be officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2pm Sunday in Highland South Memorial Park, Knoxville for the graveside service and interment.
