Elmer Frisbee, 65, of Hartford, left to his eternal rest on March 23.
Elmer was a crop and cattle farmer in the New Prospect Community in the Hartford area. He was also a faithful member of the New Prospect Church.
Elmer was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Frisbee; parents, Martin and Eliza Frisbee; brothers, Coy and Lee Frisbee; and sister, Opal Hill.
Elmer is survived by his wife of 46 years, Leaston Frisbee of Hartford; children, Kenneth and Jackie Frisbee of Newport, Earl and Debbie Frisbee, Gene and Lisa Frisbee of Hartford, Vinson and Susan Frisbee, and Teresa and Fred Laws of Newport; grandchildren, Shelby Freeman, and Candace, Kevin, Jessica, Eric, Caleb, Bethany, and Hannah Laws; great-grandchild, Chase Freeman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Willie and Anita Frisbee of Hartford and Carl and Alvonia Frisbee of Newport; and sisters and brother-in-law, Selma and Fred Ogle of Newport, Lula Williams of Hartford, Helen Frisbee of Newport and Betty Frisbee of Del Rio.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at New Prospect Church with Rev. Arthur Willis and Rev. Randall Frisbee officiating, with burial in Rathbone-Frisbee Cemetery.
The family received friends at the home Friday and Saturday evenings.
Manes Funeral Home is in charge.
