RICKETTS, REVA ENGLAND - age 83, departed this life for her eternal life with Jesus on Thursday, March 26, 2009. She was a retired employee of Miller's Dept. Store; she worked in the house wares department for 30 years. She devoted her life to God and family, and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for over 31 years and joyfully sang in the choir. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Lon C. Ricketts and daughter Myra Romines. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Ronald Hartsook; sons and daughters-in law, Lon A. and Elizabeth Ricketts and Gerald and Rebecca Ricketts; grandchildren, Melinda Clemens and husband John, Lisa Wallace and husband Marty, Ronald Hartsook Jr., Sabrina Saunders, Christopher and Matthew Ricketts, Donna Burkett, Tommy Burkett and wife Tammy; great grandchildren, Christina Merritt, Abbagale and Lonnie Saunders and Colby Burkett. special "like grandchildren", Cammy, Becca and Dylan Dillard; several nieces and nephews, a host of friends and a large church family. The family will receive friends Saturday March 28, 2009 from 1-3 pm at Piney Grove Baptist church, followed by service and burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Rev. Tim Fleeger will be officiating and special speaker will be Randy Justus. The family would like to give a special acknowledgement to all the wonderful workers of Caris Healthcare, and a very special "thank you" to Fran England for her loving help and support.
