He was of the Baptist faith and was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy. Mr Kear was preceded in death by his parents John and Frona Parrott Kear and brothers Elmer and Robert Kear Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Whitehead and several nieces and nephews. Many special thanks to special friends Jessica, Randy, Scott and Kenny Funeral service 7 PM Friday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Barnes officiating. Interment 11 AM Saturday in Cummings Chapel Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post 104. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
