FOSTER , GEORGIA LEE age 71, formerly of Southgate, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 16, 2010. She was the loving mother of Mona (Scott) Rinehart, Jimmy (Ruth) Lyons, Cathy (Bruce) Young, Rosemary (Roger) McCreary, Cathi (Kenny) Little, Jackie (Bill) Cordell, Carol (Garrett) Probst, Donna Foster , and Sandy Foster ; dear sister to Carolyn Hanson, Tommy Ellis, Lamon Ellis, and Jamie Rose; grandmother of 21 grandchildren, and great-grandmother of 11. She was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Smith; brother, Herman (Buddy) Ellis; and great grandson, Jody Greenawald. Georgia 's loving and caring disposition remained with her throughout her struggle with cancer. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 22, 2010 at New Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening, 4:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge.
