Preceded in death by mother, Lucille Ellis; father, Walter Ellis; sisters, Judy Smith and Georgia (Sis) Foster; brothers, Buddy Ellis and James Crow; wives, Gloria Ellis Joncas, and Barbara Ellis. Survived by son, Edward Ellis and wife Kim; daughters, Diane Lynch, and Debra Williams and husband Danny; stepchildren, James McDaniel, Madeline Whaley, Emilie Laney, and Carl McDaniel; grandchildren, Casey Fritts and husband Dwaine, Joey Lynch, Dustin, Dylan, and Angel Ellis; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother, Tommy Leon Ellis; sisters. Carolyn Hansen, and Janie Rose. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, August 16, 2012, at Little Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Chandler officiating followed by the interment at Little Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
