Warren C. Edmonds, 73, of 1229 Owens Lane, Dandridge, passed away Sunday, January 10, at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, Florida.
Mr. Edmonds was born April 14, 1925, in Dandridge, and was the son of the late Arthur and Margaret Myers Edmonds
He attended Hills Union United Methodist Church; was a veteran of World War II; was retired from General Motors Corp., having worked in the area of parts manufacturing; and was a winter resident of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida.
Survivors: wife, Wanda J. Edmonds of Dandridge; daughter, Roseanne Provencal of Northville, Michigan; brother, Bill Edmonds of Dandridge; sisters, Willie Maude Patterson and Maxie Lane, both of Dandridge; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hills Union United Methodist Church with Rev. John Crabtree officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. The body will be moved to the church to lie in state one hour before services.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.
