Mr. Tony Lee Brown, age 37, of Cosby, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 26, 2005, at his home.
He was a member of Pleasant Grove Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Holbert Earl Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Dena Brown, of the home; daughter, Diana Brown, of Cosby; mother, Deanna Brown, of Newport; brothers, John Brown and his fiancée, Rhoda Ottinger, of Newport, and Mark Brown and his fiancée, Kim Turner, of Newport; sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Rodney Allen, of Cosby.
Additional survivors include his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Linda and Don Ball, of Bybee; nieces, Amy Ottinger and Kristina Allen; nephew, C.J. Fine; aunts, Roseamay Waites, Shirley Johnson, and Annie Sartain; uncles, Samuel Acuff and Roger Acuff; and a host of other friends.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, March 29, 2005, at the Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cline Franklin and the Rev. Junior Loveday officiating.
Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at Stokely Chapel Church Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m. interment. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
