He was a member of Oak City Baptist Church and had attended Douglas Co-Op for 30 years. He is survived by his cousins, Kenneth Gibson, Carl Gibson, Elbert Gibson, Albert Gibson, Johnnie Mae Webb, Mary Thomas, Charolette Chambers, Brenda Houston and Margaret White, many other special relative;, special caregiver, Susie Whaley and Scott LaForce and good friend, John Loyd. His extended family at Douglas Co-op will greatly miss Tommy. The family will received friends 5-7 pm, Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Rawlings Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, April 19, 2013 in Rawlings Chapel with Rev. Cleo Whaley officiating. Interment to follow in Boyds Creek Cemetery. Arrangements by Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville.
