Ruby Douglass Hardy, 79, of Gallatin, formerly of Sevierville, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.M. and Hattie Douglass; three brothers; and a sister. She is survived by her husband, Edward Hardy; daughter, Teresa Langston; grandson, Stephen Langston; and brothers, Glenn, Gene, Rudolph and Roscoe Douglass. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. CST today, with the Rev. Don Tassiah officiating. The family received friends Friday. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the church of your choice. Arrangements are by Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, (423) 942-9500.
