REAGAN, CHESTER "BUCK" - age 76, of Gatlinburg, died Friday, May 21, 1999. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Brownlow and Nancy Reagan; beloved grandson, Jeffrey Adam Owenby; brothers, Dave, Fred and Logan Reagan; sisters, Cora Ogle, Pearl Whitted and Lissie Ward. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Banner Baptist Church. Mr. Reagan worked at E.L. Reagan's Furniture Shop for 52 years.
Survivors: wife of 53 years, Sally "Irene" Reagan; daughter, Patsy Ann Reagan; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and David Owenby; sons and daughters-in-law, June and Linda Reagan, Rick and Joyce Reagan, Mike and Tamara Reagan, Randy and Tammy Reagan; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Manis and husband, James; brother-in-law, James "Lum" Ownby and wife, Janavee; sister-in-law, Lou Cole; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 7 p.m. Sunday at Smoky Mountain Baptist Church, Rev. Dee King, Rev. Bruce Ogle and Rev. Bill Cantrell officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Monday in Caton's Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Charlie Cole, mark Owenby, Eric Reagan, Josh Reagan, Steve Jenkins and David R. Ownby. Honorary Pallbearers: John and Jake Reagan, Joe Ward, Roy Manis, Billy Cole and Sandy Owenby. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Smoky Mountain Baptist Church. Atchley Funeral Home in charge.
