He was born to James H. and Irene Suttles, at Broady Hospital in Sevierville, on June 10, 1954. He attended Pigeon Forge Elementary and Sevier County High School. Clay was a gifted artist and created beautiful oil paintings. He loved to read and learn, played dulcimer and harmonica, and was an avid puzzle solver. Clay was generous to a fault, and ultimately kind to animals. Clay is survived by his parents, James H. and Irene Suttles; twin brother, Clayton Suttles; brother, Perry Lee Suttles; sister, Barbara Gail Suttles Clevenger and Brother-in-law, Paul Clevenger. He is also survived by nieces Hannah Clevenger and Payton Victoria Suttles; and nephew, Adam Lee Suttles. Friends and family of Clay are welcome to attend a celebration of his life at 1st United Methodist Church of Pigeon Forge on Thursday, May 31 at 6 p.m. Cremation Services provided by McCarty Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, 607 Wall St. Sevierville, 774-2950.
