Preceded in death by sister; Rosie Carver; brother Howard Dixon, infant daughter; Linda Mae Dixon. Survivors Children & spouses; Bonnie & Sam Jr. Patterson, Brian Dixon & girlfriend Cassie Daniels, Paul & Shirley Dixon, Don & Betty Dixon, Steve & Barbara Dixon, sister Daisy Fagg & Husband Willie, Edna Ogle, & husband Earl jr; Hazel Wofford & husband Glen, brother; Rob Dixon & wife Dorothy, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services 8 pm Tuesday Mynatt Funeral Home Rev. Brent Turnmire officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made in Mr. Dixon’s name to the American Cancer Society, 871 Weisgarber Road; Knoxville, TN 37909. Family & friends will meet at 11:30 am Wednesday Mynatt Funeral Home & proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 12 noon.
