William A. "Bill" DeLozier, Sr., age 76, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 31,2012 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System, following an extended illness. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City, He was a military veteran, having served in the U. S. Army. He was very active with the youth of Jefferson County, having coached baseball and football for many, many years. He was one of the founding directors of the Jefferson City Little League Football Program. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Addie DeLozier; and infant brother, Roy DeLozier, Jr. His is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Anna Lee Bowman DeLozier; sons, William A. "Bill" DeLozier, Jr. of Jefferson City, David Alan and wife, Kellie DeLozier of Las Vegas, Michael Eugene and wife, Denise DeLozier of Maryville; grandson, Drew DeLozier of Las Vegas; brother, Rex and wife, Louise DeLozier of Sevierville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Price and Rev. Noah Allen officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 4 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 until 7 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society, PO Box 653, Jefferson City, Tn 37760, or to the charity of your choice.
