Beulah Duggan Linn, 91, of Pigeon Forge passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at Fort Sanders Sevier Nursing Home.
Beulah had retired from the Sevier County School system after many years of teaching the young people of Sevier County. Besides being a teacher, she had served as the Sevier County Historian for several years where she had collected a vast amount of information about the genealogy of the area.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William C. and Ellen G. Duggan; brother, William E. Duggan; sister, Louise D. Dubbs.
Mrs. Linn is survived by her daughter, Shirley J. Linn; grandsons, Brent E. Ogle, David C. Ogle, Troy E. Ogle and M. Scott Ogle; sister, Grace Helen Duggan. Besides the immediate family, Beulah will be missed by the many friends and students whose life she has touched during her lifetime.
Graveside service was held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev. Don Grady officiating.
In Beulah’s memory donations may be made to the Genealogy Department of the Sevier County Public Library, 321 Court Avenue, Sevierville, TN 37862.
