DUBBS, LOUISE DUGGAN - age 85, passed away April 18, 2001. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sevierville and a retired principal from the Broward Florida School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Dubbs, Jr. She is survived by her loving son, William Lincoln Dubbs, III; grandson, Brian J. Dubbs; granddaughter, Angela M. Haywood; sister, Beulah Linn; sister, Helen Duggan; and nieces and nephews. "those of us who have had the privilege of knowing you rather intimately, look almost with envy at what you have accomplished during your teaching at Cooper City Elementary School. It is not often given to one individual to do so much for the children of our school as you have been able to do. Perhaps it is truer to say it is rare to find in one person the vision to plan intelligently for the future and at the same time to interest her fellow citizens in making the school a better place for our children. But that is exactly what we have found in you. It must give you great satisfaction to know that because you have dreamed of a better planned and more beautiful school, others are always trying to make it so. You must also rejoice at the affectionate tribute from your students for your untiring service in our school these many years." (written by mother of one of her students.) This was our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. She loved her family and her students. Now she is a star in Heaven, shining down on all of us. We love YOU! Burn Bright, Grandmother!
