She was a native of Sevier County, a long-time member of Knob Creek Baptist Church, and a dedicated mother to her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. and Elizabeth D. Davis; husband, R. B. McGill; and daughter, Cathy McGill Williams. Survived by: Sons and daughters-in-law: Gary and Kim McGill of Seymour, and Robert and Susan McGill of Knoxville Daughters: Linda McGill of Denver, Colorado, and Melanee McGill of Knoxville Grandchildren: Caroline McGill, Garyn McGill, Davis McGill, Ailcy McGill, and Tracy Williams Sister: Doris Lynch of Dalton, Georgia Nephews and niece: Jim Lynch and wife Susan, Alex Lynch, and Betsy Lynch, all of Dalton, Georgia Mrs. McGill expressed her wish that, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cathy McGill Williams be made to the Serenity Shelter for Abused Women, c/o Knox Area Rescue Ministries, P.O.
