SWAFFORD, TRULA MAE - age 62, of Rockford, died at 9:04 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 1999 at The University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Rosa Cutshaw; brother, Junior Cutshaw. Survivors include: sons, Ronald Swafford and Joe A. Swafford, both of Rockford; daughter, Angela Cates, also of Rockford; 7 grandchildren, Kassi Swafford, Kayla Swafford, Beau Swafford, Matthew Swafford, Chloe Swafford, Brian Cates, Brooke Cates; sisters, Wanda Newman, Katherine Metcalf and Joyce Keasler, all of Sevierville, Sue Arwood and Ruby Reneau, both of Rockford and Mildred Reagan of Madisonville. Funeral services are at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 1999 in The Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Billy Moore and Rev. Raymond Burnett officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 1999 at Clark's Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Riverview Baptist Church. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 1999 in The Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.
