Woman found unconscious remains unresponsive
By Robert Moore
A Sevier County woman found unconscious Monday morning in the company of an infant inside a car at a South Morristown financial institution remained unresponsive at a hospital this morning, according to the Morristown Police Department.
Police identified the woman as Kristin Shea Taylor, a 22-year-old who lives on Boyds Creek Highway in Sevierville. She’s a patient at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.
Taylor had no signs of trauma, and police have not ruled out a drug overdose, according to MPD Maj. Michelle Jones, who reported Taylor is on life support.
The infant boy, who was in a child seat in the rear of Taylor’s 2015 BMW 320i, was uninjured and appeared to be in excellent health, according to Jones, who says the child remained at the police department until a family member arrived.
Employees of the Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union on Winners Circle Road noticed Taylor was unconscious when they began arriving for work around 8 a.m., according to officer David Barker.
Jones says a witness reported seeing Taylor drive into the credit union parking lot Monday morning.
