Lucille Cusick Loveday, age 82 of Seymour, stepped out of her earthly life and into Heaven Sunday, December 9, 2012 following a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Lucille was a tireless caregiver for her family members and loved her parents beyond measure. Today she is surely walking the streets of gold with them. As a young girl, Lucille attended Sugarloaf Baptist Church where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. As a young adult, she worked at Sanson Hosiery Mill Sevierville Division where she met her husband Beecher. Lucille was an avid housekeeper and gardener and was known for keeping a beautifully manicured lawn and flowers. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4. Preceded in death by parents Charles and Minnie Cusick, sister Mildred Redmon, brothers Eugene and Billy Joe Cusick, and her beloved son Jimmy. Survived by devoted husband of 61 years Beecher Loveday, daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Loveday, granddaughter Beth Loveday, grandson Charlie Loveday, sister and brother-in-law Helen and Mayford Kerr, sister-in-law Edna Cusick, special cousin Martha Hobby. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. The family would like to say a very special thank you to her exceptional caregiver Leisa Molitar, the staff of Caris Hospice Sevierville, Lauren Luttrell, Patsy Bradford and Zion Hill Baptist Church WMU. Graveside service and interment 1 PM Wednesday in Knob Creek Cemetery with Brother Randy Leming officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7:30 Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home in Seymour, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37865 (577-2807). (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
